Dan has six years new media experience, having freelanced, worked for a couple of smaller hot shops and now heads up new media at Tuckers. He even had a short spell as an 'on loan' e-marketing specialist. working for an outfit in Cornwall.
Though Dan specialises in php/html, he has a broad knowledge of social networking and many other key disciplines. A career highlight was his work on the VW Commercial Vehicles National Adword account, which at the time was a first. It also gave Dan the chance to work closely with Google; that 'behind the scenes' knowledge being invaluable to Tucker's clients!
When not grafting on all things digital for clients, he enjoys badminton, the gym, films and music. Dan also plays guitar and if he's not listening to Aerosmith, he might be found trying to learn their mighty riffs.
Dan prefers to work hard and fast - so his temperament is ideally suited to today's rapidly moving high tech environment.
After undertaking a foundation diploma in art and design then studying graphic design at university, Nicole moved into sharp end retailing, for names like Next, rising through the ranks to senior department manager.
Her sales and customer services training and experience make her a formidable asset to Tuckers, especially as a media buyer, where her negotiation skills pay real dividends for clients and their budgets.
When not squeezing the best positions and rates out of media sales reps, Nicole loves to burn energy at the gym while listening to Mike Postner's 'You think you're cooler than me.'
As she likes to be organised and is planning her wedding at the moment, NIcole needs all the de-stressing benefits of exercise. She also needs 'em because she likes to relax with a book such as 'The curious incident of the dog in the night' plus a warm hot chocolate to supp on!
For Liz, Tuckers has become something of a family affair. She joined the agency in 1988, left in 2000 when her daughter Kate took over the accounts hot seat, then rejoined the company this year.
As an experienced bean counter, Liz's expertise has ranged from managing money for hairdressers and farmers to land surveyors and plumbers.
She's suitably modest about the benefits she brings to Tuckers, claiming it's a bit difficult to get excited about filling in VAT returns correctly, However, to every kind of business cash-flow can be a killer and getting paid for work is equally as important as winning it in the first place.
Dancing tap and ballet at the local gym, listening to stuff like Groove Armada's History on her iPod, helps keep Liz as fit as her number crunching keeps her mind.
Adam lives and breathes what he does at Tuckers. He is able to turn his hand to just about anything. He also loves working with the automotive industry; names like Porsche, Audi, Saab, Vauxhall and Chevrolet have all benefited from his capabilities.
Adam's petrol head credentials go back a long way - with a motorsport background. He is also a confirmed F1 fan.
The other real passion of Adam's is Tuckers. He studied graphic design at college, freelanced for a while and then joined the agency he now helps run. He still gets a real buzz from working on client campaigns, especially when he finds out what results he has helped deliver. It makes all the late nights, loud music (usually Gimme Shelter by the Stones!) and Costa coffee consumption worth while.
As a coffee devotee, Adam's colleagues report that he never makes the tea but he is one of the few blokes in the world to admit to liking DIY! That's when he's not at the cinema, cycling, having a pint or trying to avoid noisy eaters.
Having graduated from the London College of Printing with a BA Hons in Typographic Design, before winning membership of the International Society of Typographic Designers, Cat left the bright lights of the Smoke behind to move back to the coast and countryside of Bournemouth in 2005.
Cat honed her skills at a variety of agencies on the South Coast - for one she was the lead designer for the prestigious Barclays half term annual report -.before joining Tuckers in the summer of 2010.
In the short time she's been with the agency, she's really enjoyed the large variety of work for a disparate client base.
Besides music - and Cat's taste varies from Alicia Keys and Jay-Z to our own Charlatans and Ian Brown - she loves to swim, socialise and ponder one of life's great mysteries…how you can put a pair of socks in the washing machine but only one ever reappears!
As George Carter would have called Jack Regan in The Sweeney, Phil is 'The Guv' at Tuckers…which is why his name is above the door.
He's spent over 30 years in the local advertising scene, gaining experience in everything from agencies to newspapers. Then, over 20 years ago, he launched his own agency: Tucker Advertising.
His aim then, and one that remains to this day, was to create a lively, enjoyable and productive working environment; produce high quality work; build long term relationships with staff and clients and for everyone to benefit from the Tuckers 'attitude.'
Phil keeps pretty damned busy being a dad to two. Beyond that he describes himself as a cycling, tennis playing, mountain climbing, expresso drinking, Manchester United season ticket holding, book reading, crispy bacon lover. Though not necessarily in that order!
He's also a big music fan with eclectic taste, everything from Abba to Zeppelin in fact. Which prevents him having to listen to his pet hate: automated, unhelpful, frustrating, infuriating phone systems!
Hayley joined Tuckers as a school leaver at 16 and is still there! Which says something about her, the business, its people and its clients...many of whom have also been with the agency for quite a while, too.
In that time Hayley has covered most bases, and has benefited from the kind of hands on education that money really couldn't buy. She believes her key strengths are her 'organisational and people skills'. Which translates to getting the most from everyone from media buyers, to colleges and suppliers like printers, all for the ultimate benefit of the agency's clients.
In her 20 odd year Tucker career Hayley cites simply 'working here' as a constant highlight; that and doing a job well for clients. Though she also has a soft spot for the days when she used to organise and sometimes star in (as a snow fairy or Christmas cracker!) clients' seasonal parades.
A young family, walking and cycling take up much of her 'me' time, though she does admit to sneaking in the odd skiing holiday, spa treatment and glass of wine taken with friends and lots of laughter.

Phil Tucker started our Bournemouth-based advertising and design agency that still bears his name back in 1985, In a fickle industry where names come and go with fad and fashion, over a quarter of a century spent successfully helping local businesses to succeed is quite a feat.
Though the Tuckers name helped drive the growth of some of the areas best known names (from Apple Conservatories and the Seward Motor Group to I4R, Bournemouth's fastest growing insurance specialists), our team isn't widely known.
But then, as Hayley O'Shea, one of our Account Directors, says, 'That's simply because we work hard to promote our clients, not ourselves. Our job is to help them win customers, not for our agency to win awards!'
We put flair and imagination at the heart of our success. From our ideas and innovation roots we have evolved into a full service marketing communications consultancy. We work successfully above and below the line, online and off-line, in sectors as varied as automotive and retail.
Though as Creative Director, Adam Gritz, says, 'Our creativity is always balanced by common sense and commercial reality. Everything we do is to deliver results and enable our clients to achieve their objectives.'
Today we offer clients a real end to end solution. This ranges from traditional media capabilities such as brand creation, design for print, press advertising and direct mail to new media essentials like web design, development and digital marketing.
Recent growth here at Tuckers, fuelled by a number of account wins, has resulted in our team being strengthened in three key areas of expertise. Dan Temple now heads up our web design and development operations; Catherine Randall brings her London experience to bear for clients as a senior designer and Nicole Mundy specialises in media planning and buying to ensure advertisers get maximum punch for their pound.
